The 43rd International EPTA Conference, organized in Madrid by EPTA Spain under the presidency of Alberto Urroz, appointed Conference CEO and European President of the European Piano Teachers Association for the 2020-2021 academic year, was held with great success despite the difficult global situation due to the pandemic. The Conference was attended by more than 80 international pianists and pedagogues and featured a wide variety of lectures and performances under the topic “Connecting Continents and Traditions”. In addition to the wonderful lectures at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, this important event, which was held for the first time in Spain in its 43-year history, included three events of the highest artistic quality at the Real Casino de Madrid, the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid and the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas in the Retiro Park.
